Making a difference in instruction and student performance by:
Creating partnerships that create measurable change and sustainable growth in student achievement
Gibson Hasbrouck & Associates partners with experts and educators at the national, state, and district or campus levels to improve teacher and student performance. GHA professional associates work with leadership teams, administrators, classroom teachers, and literacy coaches to collaboratively enhance school success.
Developing Instructional Leaders
GHA uses multiple approaches to enhance educators’ knowledge and skills by providing:
- INSTITUTES whereby educators attend 1.5-2 days of intensive training in a specific skill or topic strand, i.e., differentiating instruction, RTI, PreK, classroom management or how to improve instructional effectiveness. Training at an institute enhances CONTENT KNOWLEDGE (updated research and information) and SKILLS (instructional suggestions and techniques) for sharing their learning by with other educators at their schools.
- ONE-DAY PRESENTATIONS and/or ONSITE FOLLOW-UP provide an overview of the content along with updated research and suggestions that may be used for personal professional growth or onsite visits by a GHA Associate for additional coaching, responding to questions and providing feedback about implementation.
- SUMMITS and PRESENTATIONS whereby GHA partners with McGraw Hill’s Center for Comprehensive School Improvement (CCSI) where Dr. Gibson, Dr. Hasbrouck and/or a GHA Associate conducts presentations or workshops on specific topics related to professional development.
Strengthening school communities
GHA consulting and coaching services are developing partnerships within school communities to honor and embrace diversity while attending to specific client needs. Our research-based and proven effective services help educators develop practical solutions for current challenges.
